Practice Within Your Scope

Remember to practice within your scope of license. There are online marketing companies that are sending out of state “patients” to mental health professionals in our state.

Furthermore, several provisional licensees are engaging in asynchronous communication in violation of our practices. Unfortunately, licensees have diagnosed the out of state patients with mental or emotional disabilities to grant them emotional support animals. This opens yourself to disciplinary action.
