Dear Counselor Intern Applicant:

Enclosed are the Registration of Supervision application forms and materials.  The process includes three parts:  (1) Part I: Applicant Data and Educational Requirements, (2) Part II:  Supervisor Data, and (3) Part III: Practice Setting.  You may complete each part separately or you may complete them all at the same time. However, before beginning practice, you must have been notified in writing that Parts I, II, and III of your Registration of Supervision Application have been approved by this board.

You may become a registered intern by completing Part I of the Registration of Supervision packet and submitting the appropriate fee; however, before you begin practicing, you must also complete Parts II and III.  If you have already secured an approved LPC supervisor and/or a practice setting at the time you submit Part I, you may submit Parts II and III at the same time, or you may submit Parts II and III at a later date.

If you are enrolled in one or more required courses, you may submit your Part I application along with a current transcript and an official listing of those courses in which you are currently registered.  The board will consider approving you as a registered intern pending receipt of your final transcript indicating that your current courses have been completed successfully and that a master’s degree in counseling has been conferred.

The review fee for this Registration of Supervision application is not refundable, so please read all materials carefully before submitting your application.
