Gloria M. Bockrath, PhD
Dr. Bockrath is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been in private practice for more than 20 years. She is also on the faculty of Baton Rouge Community College where she teaches psychology courses. She has also been an adjunct faculty member at LSU, Southern, and SLU. Her Ph.D. in Counselor Education is from the University of New Orleans. She is a Past President of the Louisiana Counseling Association, she was Co-Chair of the Government Relations Committee when the original licensing law was passed, she is a founding member and Past President of Louisiana Mental Health Counselors Association. Dr. Bockrath also served as the Continuing Education Coordinator for Louisiana Counseling Association for several years. She was chair of the Committee on Women for the American Mental Health Counselors Association and was selected Counselor of the Year. Dr. Bockrath also served on the American Counseling Association’s Committee on Women.
